The nails that I got for my birthday!

I just wrapped my midterms up and finally got some time to get the relaxation that I deserved after getting less than 3 hours of sleep the past few nights. I took a nap, read from one of my favorite books milk and honey by Rupi Kaur (I know it’s basic, but it’s great and on sale here for under $10) and tried some new products that Matykos sent to me! 

This was my first time using a jade roller and also a derma roller! This jade roller is made from Xiuyan Jade mined from China! The benefits of using a jade roller include reducing puffiness and wrinkles, improving circulation, and collagen production. I have enjoyed the process, it felt great, and I’ve already been seeing some results already! The jade roller has a new patented design that is not squeaky and provides a smooth rolling experience, it is very durable and high quality in my opinion.

My yummy brunch for Lo-Cal Kitchen in Greenvale. I also tried a new type of Dandelion Tea for the first time, which was great, and took a chicken burger and pancakes home with me to eat later, because I was not feeling in the mood to cook today. Their food is healthy and low in calories, perfect for anyone trying to be healthier (or me after I ate Little Vincent’s Pizza, Ice Cream, Pasta, and Cake yesterday)! At first I was worried if I would like the healthier, natural, low-calorie versions of my favorite foods, but I was obsessed! I grabbed this on my way back from my Long Island house and it was so tasty! I loved the experience and the interior was super cute and bright. I can’t wait to come back here! 

Yesterday I went to dinner at Cipollini at the Americana Manhasset for my friend’s birthday! I had an amazing time, ate delicious food and wanted to share my outfit.

I tried Nitro Space Ice Cream in Huntington when I visited Long Island this weekend! I got The Compound flavor, which was made up of cookies and cream, oreos, and a chocolate swirl straw, with a Midnight Vanilla Konery Waffle Cone. It was really good, I would recommend anyone who is in the area to give it a try!

Today I went to SoHo for dinner at Coco & Cru, another Australian Inspired NYC Foodie Spot.

I saw this beautiful pair of wings and had to snap a photo in front of it! This made me think about what lifts me up, and I would have to say that my goals and the people who support me are the two biggest influences in my life.

This is another example of something that I would wear on a night out!

I really liked the background and had to snap a picture here, plus it made me look much tanner than I actually am!

I got my super sexy lace-up bodysuit from Express! I couldn’t wear a bra with it because it was low-cut in both the front and the back (oops), so I used these Hollywood Fashion Secrets Silicone Coverups! I always use these and I like that they are hypoallergenic and comfortable to wear. They also are as supportive and make you as perky as a sticky bra possibly could. I would highly recommend these!

My belt is from Tory Burch. No, I did not wear a gucci belt! I don’t have a black gucci belt anyway, my “nice” belt is from Prada but I am always cautious about taking my “nice” stuff out to the club because I ruined or lost too many things going out. Always keep that in mind if you are going out, I wouldn’t recommend bringing something super valuable or something that you really like incase an accident happens (like a drink being spilt). I once even lost my purse and everything inside of it after a night out at Le Souk in Manhattan.

My ripped jeans are from American Eagle Outfitters, and I honestly love their jeans because they are so stretchy, comfortable, flattering, and very affordable! 

My open toe suede booties are from Steve Madden, I always wear these!

I said it once before because people were frequently asking me about what I would wear out, and my best advice is to coordinate with your friends (most of the girls in my group this night wore jeans and bodysuits or crop-tops with some kind of a heeled, one girl wore a dress). It also helps to check out the place where you are going on Instagram before hand, so you can see what people typically wear there. However, keep in mind that you should always wear what YOU feel comfortable with, what you like, and what you think is appropriate. Overall, wear what you want! 

Today is #worldmentalhealthday and I just wanted to say a few things. I hope that we can erase the stigma surrounding mental illness and raise awareness. I try to be open and honest when I write things like this. Sometimes it may be hard to get out of bed or do simple tasks. You may feel overwhelmed with sadness or worry. You may act distant. Mental illness is different for everyone. You never know what battles one may be facing regardless of how well you think you may know them. My advice is to find healthy ways to cope, to try your best to take the best care of yourself that you possibly can and to seek out professional help if you feel like you need it. Try to be there for the people in your life and check up on them every once in a while if you can. Find a good, stable support system and be there for others. If you are ever feeling lonely and would like to talk, feel free to reach out to me, I am here for you. You are strong and you are not alone regardless of what you may feel. Keep fighting.

The only thing I’m committed to right now is bettering and healing myself.
