Refresh Skin Therapy
I have been trying to develop a skin-care routine to take care of my skin’s health and beauty, as it is so important to begin doing so! I have been stuck on the same products for a while now, but decided that it was time to step outside of my comfort zone and try something new and hopefully see some improvement in the process. I have been so excited to try out my two new serums from Refresh Skin Therapy, a brand known for their naturally rejuvenating twist on skin health. Refresh Skin Therapy delivers beautiful skin and aimed to be accessible for everyone to use. Their peels treat acne, fine lines, scars, and more while being gentle on sensitive skin like mine. They do all of this while also being vegan, gluten-free, alcohol-free, cruelty-free, and made in the USA in an FDA inspedcted production facility – which makes me super happy! I am passionate about sustainability and caring for the earth as well as it’s furry friends, so this was music to my ears. Additionally, their products are also free from added fragrances, colors, and GMOs. I personally believe that it is important to know and understand what you are putting into your body, especially when it comes to your largest organ, your skin!
The first serum that I tried was their Fruit Triple Brightening Daily Active Serum, which retails on their site for $45. This serum is described as “a multi-tasking daily active serum with four key active botanicals to brighten all complexions and reduce the appearance of dark spots” and can be used by those who have uneven skin tone, dark spots, melasma, sun spots, or acne scars. I tend to gravitate towards multi-purpose products, as they make my skincare regime easier to incorporate into my busy schedule.
Key Ingredients:
– Glycolic acid gently encourages new skin cell turnover to smooth and soften. Complexion is noticeably brighter and softer, even after just one application.
– Licorice Root Extract is a potent antioxidant working to soothe reddened, sensitive skin. Also acts as a tyrosinase inhibitor to prevent hyperpigmentation.
– Bearberry (Alpha Arbutin) and Kojic acid are natural skin brighteners, to reduce the appearance of dark spots. Effective, natural alternative to hydroquinone.
When using this, it is suggested to apply it to a clean face, neck, and decollete in the morning, allowing to fully dry and then follow it with a hydrating sunscreen to further protect your skin. I followed these directions when trying it out for myself.
This product left my skin glowing and more even than before I began using it, which I was hoping for as in the approaching summer months it becomes more splotchy for some reason! I also noticed that my makeup appies better after using this product in combination with the moisturizer and primers that I have been using prior to this discovery.
Secondly I tried Refresh Skin Therapy’s Vitamin C Serum, which retails for $36 on their website. This product is enriched with Vitamins E, B and Ferulic. They use maximum clinical 20% strength Vitamin C in the production of this serum. Their rich antioxidant formula drenches dry, dull skin with a powerful anti-aging vitamin cocktail.
This serum is easy to use daily, light, and non-oily serum that refreshes your skin and leaves you with a young healthy glow. I have been applying a few drops to my face and neck in the morning after cleansing. I allow it to dry and you can use it up to twice a day if desired.

I saw a glowing complexion result from use of this product. I have truly been pleased with the results of adding both of these serums into my daily skincare procedure. I have also noticed my skin appearing additionally more moisturised and smooth following the start of this step in my routine.
