Clip. Paint. Party. Repeat.

According to their website, Pinkie Swear is a makeup collective for dreamers, magic makers, and misfits. Their products are based on style, not skin tone, so you can pick colors based on what’s real, not what’s “right.” Thank you to Pinkie Swear for the generous gifting to write this blog post! Pinkie Swear was created by a team of working LA artists, and is made in the USA. Pinkie Swear vows that their colors are high quality and high impact, and ready to turn your makeup into a creative masterpiece. Pinkie Swear was at New York Beauty Con in the beginning of April and The Makeup Show NYC in the beginning of May (which I unfortunately did not attend this year, but I hope any of my NY babes that attended got to see them). They will be at Los Angeles Beautycon August 10th-11th as well as the The Makeup Show Beauty Shop San Francisco August 17th-18th, so if any of my Cali babes will be attending make sure to check ’em out.

When I received my package from Pinkie Swear Cosmetics I could not wait to test my new Clip Paints, as I have never used or seen any product like it before! I received the Clip Paint & Clip Gloss Gift Set, which retails for $50 on their website. This is a great deal, as each clip paint or gloss retails for $18 individually and also it comes with bonus super cute sequined Limited-Edition Glitter Makeup Bag & Enamel Pins! Since the price for 3 clip paints alone without the extras would be $54, I would recommend this as a great birthday or Mother’s Day gift!

Clip Paint is “a superstar lip pigment with high-impact color and tons of moisture. Built with a precision brush, you can apply it fast and still look flawless. And you can trust its lasting formula will hold through the after-party”. Clip Gloss can be worn alone or as a shimmery topcoat.

It is so convenient, unique, and innovative that you can clip it to anything—your bag, your denim jacket, or your notebook— as it’ll always be there for you.

The first clip paint that I tried was Lo-Fi, followed by Fire Escape, and then Hi-Fi. Lo-Fi is “Mermaid allure meets moon goddess magic in this cool-toned gloss. A galactic mix of lavender glaze and metallic flecks, this long-lasting gloss makes your shine supernatural.” Fire Escape was described as Pinkie Swear as “a classic red shade that’s loud, lush, and never not cool.” Hi-Fi is “A cosmic mix of rose gold shimmer and otherworldly shine, this warm-toned lip gloss brings glimmering crystal magic straight to your pout. Destined for epic beauty looks, it’s like starshine in a tube.” At first, I noticed that the shades were very pigmented and even smelt great. I unfortunately didn’t get a selfie with it on my lips as I applied it before I went to the airport to go to Mexico, but it lasted through hours of traveling! I can’t wait to get more use out of these products as they last without making my lips look crusty as some lip products do.

Swatches from the heart tat down: Lo-Fi, Fire Escape, Hi-Fi
