On Cloud Wine: Vineyard Hopping & Other North Fork Adventures

For my friend Vicky’s 21st birthday, we ventured out to her house in East Marion on the North Fork of Suffolk County, Long Island. If you know me, I am a Long Island native growing up on the Gold Coast as well as in the Hamptons in the summertime. I love exploring and was going through a rough time, so I was so excited to take a fun weekend trip away.

We had a party bus to drive us around, as drinking and driving is not acceptable in anyway, and this made it a less stressful time as everyone could fit in one vehicle rather than splitting up and no one had to worry about driving, allowing them just to sit back and relax. The first stop was brunch at Bruce & Son in Greenport. I have been here a few times previously with an ex-boyfriend who has a house in Greenport and a different friend who also has a house out there, but I was so excited to go here once again since it is so good. It was a great start to the day!

The next stop was the first out of two vineyards, which was Pugliese Vineyards in Cutchogue. Here I was able to get a photo of what I was wearing!

My jumpsuit was from Forever 21 (exact Garden Floral Print Satin Jumpsuit), and was originally $22.99 but is now on sale for 31% off making it $15.99.

My sunglasses are from Ray Ban (exact Aviator Polarized Sunglasses in the shade Gold Matte/Pink Mirror Polar via Macy’s for $203).

My purse is from Michael Kors (exact MICHAEL Michael Kors Hamilton Traveler Medium Saffiano Leather Tote but in black via Amazon for $379.99)

I forgot where I got my shoes from since I have had them for a few years now, so here is a similar Pump from Hogan via Yoox for $117 (was originally $309, so this is a good deal)! A more affordable option is this Charles By Charles David Latin Wedge Sandal via DSW for $59.99 (was originally $99, so another good deal).

The next stop on our tour was Raphael Winery in Peconic, which was absolutely beautiful in my opinion.

After the wineries, we went back into the town of Greenport and made our first stop at Lucharitos, a Taqueria & Tequila Bar that I visited before and loved due to its uniqueness.

Next, we stopped at Andy’s, a friendly pub.

We finished the night off with some food from Crazy Beans, a quirky spot that also has locations in Miller Place and Stony Brook. Look at how good that food looks!

After the fun filled day, we went back home and then rested up to drive back in the morning. On the drive back, we spotted this adorable pink and purple building. We stopped to go in, but found out that it was the Tea Time Cottage in Riverhead that is now closed. I still snagged a photo of it because it was just so enchanting!

Overall, this was a super fun adventure and I can not wait for summer to come around full swing for more days like these!
